Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, externally funded research in biochemistry and molecular biology, leading to high-impact publications.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant biochemistry and molecular biology topics.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program innovation within the department.
• Advise and supervise graduate and/or undergraduate students in their research projects.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to strengthen research and academic programs.
• Engage in academic services and departmental initiatives.
• Explore research areas such as epigenetics, molecular mechanisms of diseases, and systems biology.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in research with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proven ability to secure external research funding.
• Experience in teaching at the university level.
• Expertise in areas such as molecular mechanisms of diseases, stem cell biology, or infectious diseases is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in bioinformatics and computational approaches are a significant advantage.
