Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for experiments and demonstrations.

• Assist teaching staff with practical sessions, providing technical guidance and support to students.
• Manage inventory of chemicals, equipment, and consumables, reordering as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste according to safety guidelines.
• Support the development and implementation of new lab activities and demonstrations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in a relevant science field is advantageous.
• Proven experience working in a science laboratory setting, preferably within an educational context.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining common laboratory equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
