Service Supervisor I | Cementing Services

Role Summary

A Service Supervisor I - Cementing oversees cementing operations at well sites, ensuring safe and efficient execution of primary and remedial cementing jobs. This role coordinates crew activities, manages equipment deployment, and maintains compliance with industry standards and client specifications in oilfield services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cementing crew during wellsite operations including primary cementing, squeeze cementing, and plug setting
• Manage cementing equipment setup, testing, and operation including pumps, blenders, and bulk systems
• Interpret cement job designs, laboratory reports, and real-time data to make operational decisions
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, API standards, and company procedures throughout all cementing activities
• Coordinate with drilling supervisors, company men, and clients to align on job parameters and contingency plans
• Maintain accurate job documentation including cementing reports, material tracking, and incident records
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings, risk assessments, and equipment inspections
• Mentor and train cementing operators and assistant supervisors on technical procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years oilfield cementing experience with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity
• Proven track record executing complex cementing jobs in onshore or offshore environments
• In-depth knowledge of cement chemistry, slurry design, and additive systems
• Proficiency with cementing simulation software and real-time monitoring systems
• Valid well control certification (IWCF/IADC Level 4) and HSE training certificates
• Technical diploma or degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
• Strong command of English language for technical reporting and client communication
