Security Manager, Algeria

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies to protect company assets, employees, and operations across Algeria.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Manage security incidents, investigations, and reporting in compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with local authorities and external security providers to ensure a safe working environment.
• Lead and train security teams, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Monitor security systems, access controls, and surveillance equipment.
• Prepare and deliver security reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar leadership role in a multinational or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis response.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the FMCG or tobacco industry.
• Familiarity with Algerian security regulations and local law enforcement networks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
