Clearance Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Clearance and Shipping Specialist to manage daily import and export operations, customs compliance, and freight logistics. This role is essential for ensuring smooth cross-border trade and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport companies to ensure efficient clearance and shipment
• Prepare and review all necessary documentation for import/export procedures
• Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or issues
• Maintain accurate records of all clearance and logistics activities
• Liaise with internal departments to align shipping schedules with business needs
• Optimize freight costs and logistics operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Clearance Specialist or similar role in import/export operations
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and documentation
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English

Preferred Skills

• Experience with shipping lines and freight forwarding
• Knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems
• Familiarity with regional trade regulations in Egypt
