Restaurant Manager

Job Purpose

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations efficiently and profitably, maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-focused service standards.

Role Overview

This role leads day-to-day restaurant activities, supports operational performance, and ensures service delivery meets quality, productivity, and guest experience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including service flow, staff coordination, and operational readiness.
• Monitor production levels, productivity, food quality, and service standards.
• Ensure restaurant activities are carried out efficiently, profitably, and in line with business requirements.
• Support staff performance, task allocation, and workflow organization.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing service quality and operational consistency.
• Help control costs, reduce waste, and improve restaurant efficiency.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards across restaurant areas.
• Report operational issues and support practical solutions to improve performance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant operations or food service management.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, productivity, and quality control.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate daily restaurant activities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar hospitality role.
• Knowledge of food service workflows, guest service standards, and restaurant profitability drivers.
• Experience supporting staff training, scheduling, and performance improvement.
