About the Role

We are seeking passionate and skilled Baristas and a Lead Barista to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, cold brew, and specialty beverages, following established recipes and standards
• Maintain deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing methods, and flavor notes to educate and engage customers
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and seating areas at all times
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment with care and precision
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and creating a memorable café experience
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate shortages to management
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local regulations
• As Lead Barista: supervise and mentor junior baristas, manage shift operations, ensure quality control across all beverages, assist with training new hires, and act as the primary point of contact during shifts
• Contribute to menu development by suggesting new drink ideas and seasonal offerings
• Handle customer feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a barista in a fast-paced café or coffee shop environment
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, latte art, and brewing methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• For Lead Barista candidates: demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management

Preferred Skills

• Barista certification or completion of a recognized coffee training program
• Experience with latte art competitions or advanced latte art techniques
• Familiarity with specialty coffee trends, single-origin beans, and third-wave coffee culture
• Experience in inventory management and ordering supplies
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
