The Front Desk Leader Who Sets the Standard — Front Desk Manager
Who We're Looking For
You don't just manage a front desk — you define the first impression. You're the kind of leader who reads the lobby before anyone notices, who anticipates guest needs before they're spoken, and who holds the team to a standard most people reserve for five-star properties. If you've spent years mastering the rhythm of guest services and you're ready to own the front office operation end to end, this role was built for you.
What You'll Own
- Supervise and coordinate daily front office operations, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences for every guest
- Assist the Front Office Manager in administering policies, schedules, and performance standards across the team
- Lead, train, and motivate front desk staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism, speed, and sound judgment
- Monitor room availability, reservations, and billing accuracy to protect both guest satisfaction and revenue
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to resolve operational issues in real time
- Prepare shift reports, occupancy summaries, and performance updates for senior leadership
What You Bring
- Proven experience in front office or guest services operations, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong supervisory and team leadership skills with the ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities — you connect with guests and staff alike
- Solid understanding of front office systems, reservation platforms, and standard operating procedures
- A detail-oriented mindset paired with the confidence to make quick, independent decisions
- Professional appearance and a service-first attitude that sets the tone for the entire property
What Sets This Role Apart
This isn't a desk you sit behind — it's a platform. You'll have real influence over how the guest experience is shaped from the moment someone walks through the door. The team will look to you for direction, the property will depend on you for consistency, and your career will gain the kind of leadership credibility that opens doors to senior management. If you're ready to be the person everyone counts on, step forward.
