Job Overview

As the Executive Chef at InterContinental Muscat, you will lead the culinary operations of a luxury hotel, ensuring exceptional food quality, innovative menus, and outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect international culinary trends.
• Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and cost control standards.
• Collaborate with hotel management to align culinary offerings with brand standards.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, including food cost and labor cost percentages.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 3 years in an executive chef role.
• Proven expertise in luxury hotel or fine‑dining environments.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
• Deep knowledge of international cuisines, menu engineering, and modern cooking techniques.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
