About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Qatar. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and report on project expenditure, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and contractual commitments.
Prepare and review tender documents, contract proposals, and procurement schedules.
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering analyses to optimize project costs.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.
Oversee the preparation of interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with local Qatar regulations, industry standards, and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying within construction and infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in cost estimation software and quantity takeoff tools.
In-depth knowledge of contract administration, FIDIC conditions, and standard forms of construction contracts.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
