Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/CRAC Technician to join our facility operations team in Qatar. This role demands a high level of expertise in maintaining and repairing critical environmental control systems, including chillers, air conditioning units, and computer room air conditioning (CRAC) systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure optimal performance of all facility equipment.

Core Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and CRAC systems to ensure continuous operation.
Monitor and maintain chillers, air handlers, and associated equipment to meet temperature and humidity specifications.
Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify system faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
Document all service activities, including parts used, system readings, and maintenance logs, in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with facility management to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
Respond to emergency service calls and perform after-hours repairs as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and CRAC system maintenance, preferably in a commercial or data center environment.
In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and control systems.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608, HVAC certification) are highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with large-scale chilled water systems and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology.
Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and monitoring tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in industrial settings.
