Fleet Coordinator
Role Overview
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day fleet operations by coordinating vehicles, ensuring proper usage, and assisting field activities. This role is essential for maintaining efficient transportation and logistics for the company in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate vehicle movements and assignments to meet operational needs.
- Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in planning routes and optimizing fleet efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and documentation.
- Communicate with drivers and field staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support the Fleet Manager in reporting and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or fleet management is a plus.
- Proven experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation management.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive in Qatar.
Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-service mindset are essential. Familiarity with Qatar's roads and traffic regulations is an advantage.
