Bridge Cutter Machine Operator – Stone Factory in Qatar

Al Emadi is currently seeking an experienced Factory Bridge Cutter Machine Operator to join our stone and marble production facility in Qatar. This role is critical to our manufacturing operations, requiring a skilled professional who can handle heavy-duty bridge cutting equipment used in processing natural stone, marble, and granite slabs. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control bridge cutter machines to cut, shape, and trim natural stone, marble, and granite blocks and slabs according to precise specifications.
• Set up machine parameters including blade speed, cutting depth, and feed rate based on material type and job requirements.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of the bridge cutter to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor cutting quality throughout production runs, making real-time adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and production orders to execute jobs correctly.
• Coordinate with the production team and supervisors to meet daily output targets and delivery schedules.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area around the machinery.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material defects, or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance or shift supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bridge cutter machines within the stone, marble, granite, or natural stone industry is mandatory.
• Prior work experience in the GCC region, preferably Qatar, is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of stone cutting techniques, blade types, and material properties.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise measurement instructions.
• Physical fitness and stamina to work in a factory environment with heavy materials.
