Logistics Manager (M2) & Supply Chain Specialist Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and execution of the comprehensive site logistics strategy for the entire program.
• Orchestrate the efficient management of material deliveries, equipment movement, laydown areas, and essential site storage solutions.
• Supervise and control traffic management, stringent site access protocols, and the seamless movement of all site personnel.
• Foster close collaboration and coordinate logistics operations with construction, Health, Safety, Wellbeing (HSW), commercial, and planning departments.
• Oversee the establishment and upkeep of critical temporary site infrastructure, including access roads, welfare facilities, and modular buildings.
• Directly manage logistics suppliers, subcontractors, transportation providers, and any off-site support services.
• Rigorously monitor key logistics Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintain performance dashboards, and report on critical metrics.
• Guarantee unwavering compliance with Mace’s stringent health, safety, wellbeing, and quality standards across all logistics operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the site logistics team, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements for a Site Operations Planner

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as a Logistics Manager, specifically on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Profound understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works design, and intricate logistics planning methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience operating within remote or challenging project environments is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional skills in coordination, strategic planning, and effective problem-solving.
• Proven leadership capabilities with substantial experience managing diverse, multi-disciplinary site teams.
• A strong aptitude for building and maintaining robust relationships with contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
