Tasks and Responsibilities

• Translate 2D design sketches into 3D prototypes with accuracy.
• Develop and refine patterns for a variety of garments, ensuring a perfect fit.
• Construct initial garment samples, meticulously checking for quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate closely with designers to interpret creative vision and provide technical feedback.
• Make necessary adjustments to patterns and prototypes based on designer and fitting feedback.
• Maintain organized records of patterns, samples, and material usage.
• Stay updated on the latest garment construction techniques and industry trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Prototypiste or similar role in the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in pattern making and garment construction techniques.
• Strong understanding of fabric properties and their impact on garment drape.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and interpret technical sketches and specifications.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with digital pattern making software is a plus.
