Role Overview

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day fleet operations by coordinating vehicles, ensuring proper usage, and assisting field activities. This role is essential for maintaining efficient transportation and logistics for the company in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vehicle movements and assignments to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in planning routes and optimizing fleet efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and documentation.
  • Communicate with drivers and field staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the Fleet Manager in reporting and analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or fleet management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive in Qatar.

Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-service mindset are essential. Familiarity with Qatar's roads and traffic regulations is an advantage.
